Are they meant to be soft?
I thought sugar strands were supposed to be a bit crunchy, or at least not soft. Maybe mine were stale?

my batch seemed fine
I have bought these twice now for decorating cakes and for icecream sprinkles - they have been fine - really like the packaging. The waotrose one for sprinkles is wobbly this is firm plastic. We washed the pack and were able to reuse for keeping tiny pieces of lego technic in

Looks great, tastes awful!
I don't know if I received a can from a bad batch or if they always taste like this, but mine tasted as if it was either left in the cupboard for ten years or they forgot to add sugar. It just tastes like very stale, dried out bread crumbs. Maybe worse. I am really disappointed that I actually put this all over a cake before trying. Sorry, thumbs down on this one. The one earned star is for the packaging.

not very appetising
I bought these to decorate cakes with the kids, and these just looked wrong... like they were very old. I know they were in date and newly opened, but just not very appealing. Not much use for decorating if they aren't decorative, is there?
