Better than the powder
I've recently started using this over the Calgon powder and found it to be much better. No messy powder when the box starts leaking and easy to dose.

good in hard water areas
I live in an area with very hard water and I use this in every wash. My first washing machine has just stopped working after 23 years so I must be doing something right! This stuff smells nice and because it is liquid you don't have to worry about it dissolving. I just put it in the washball with the clotheswash liquid and shove the whole thing in the drum. You can use less clotheswash as well as it washes more efficiently in softened water.

The Best Limescale Product
This is the only de-limescaler I will use in my washing machine. It smells lovely, which is a nice upside, but the clincher is that it flows through the machine with absolutely no residue left in the tray or on the clothes, which I have found tends to be a problem with powders & tablets, especially with older machines. Top notch.
