Bland
I tried this based on reviews, but was disappointed, too thin, no body imo.
awful acidic wine
Terrible tasteless wine, acidic from the first glass to the last. Undrinkable disgusting it will ruin your meal as well.
Very bad
So bad it's undrinkable. I really don't understand the good reviews. And it has nothing in common with a Fitou.
Powerful but uninspired, unbalanced Fitou
Definitely not a high quality Fitou, powerful at 14% alcohol but medium-bodied, acidic and lacking any finesse. A vegetal quality which is unpleasant, rather flat and dull. OK with food but definitely not to sip, and no value for money. The Chateau de Segure and Cascastel range on Ocado are infinitely better and the Segure is excellent value. The Cascastel is pricey but worth every pence!!!
