Perfect for soup
I used these in an Italian vegetable soup as a substitute for butter beans and they worked well. The beans were just soft enough to add a bit of substance without being too mushy, it's worth mentioning that my soup was simmering for a good 35 mins. I don't think I'd use them alone in a salad as they are a little too mild for my taste.

Too hard
These were quite unpleasant, I put them in a soup but they were still hard.

Not properly cooked?
I bought these beans to make refried beans. After heating them up in the pan for a while I realised they were too hard to even be mashed!!! I thought the point of buying this kind of beans is the same point as the heinz baked beans not to cook them yourself!
