Use Quickly

Lovely tasting cheese, love the easy to use packaging but I always find it starts going mouldy well within date so it doesn't last as long as you would expect. Disappointing when you go to use it & as the packaging is not clear you can't see it until you get it out :-(

Smooth good taste

Very smooth, quite mellow. Could be a bit stronger but perfectly adequate as an every day cheddar.

best cheese for italian cooking

I enjoy this product thoroughly. Great for lasagne and cauliflower and cheese!

Disappointed

It says it is the best selling cheese in the UK. Well I am not sure what that says about the UKs taste in Cheese. There are so many Mature cheeses with a far better taste. I don't really understand the line on the pack. "Mature yet mellow Cheddar". It should say Mild Cheddar, it would be simpler and more accurate.

stays fresh longer

Oh I'm so glad i bought this brand - and for that matter its sister products, the extra mature and lower fat Cheddars. When you are dieting and only using small amounts of cheese it's good to know the excellent packaging will stop those nasty moulds growing and you don't have to keep throwing away blocks of expensive cheese. The taste is great and I'm sold on this one.
