Storage
Keep refrigerated. Once opened keep covered in chilled water which should be changed daily and eat within 3 days. Use by date shown on front of pack.
Prepare & Use
Remove packaging, pat dry, cube and marinate with your favourite ingredients. For best results stir fry in a little oil for 6 minutes. Then add your favourite sauce and vegetables. Serve and enjoy! weekly essential
good versatile tofu. there's plenty of it, I find that one block goes quite far. nice texture, great fried or roasted, worthwhile marinading even if only briefly to give some flavour

even fussy chinese mother sees nothing wrong with this tofu. holds shape, tastes authentic - cooked or raw! yum.

Pretty Good but not Brilliant
I don't hate this Cauldron Tofu but neither do I adore it. Although there are other brands that are delish whatever you do or don't do, most tofu success in cooking is based on the prepping of it. Do freeze, do drain thoroughly, do marinate it in ginger, chile, soy sauce, sesame oil and so-on. Or at the very least, cube, pat dry and shallow fry it until golden all over - a top tip I learned many years ago from Ken Hom's telly series. This tofu is perfectly good and tasty, if you treat it well - even my carnivorous Mr. likes it in stir fries. I'm just miffed that I can't get the excellent 'smoked tofu' that Cauldron used to put out any more!

Not as firm as it was so more prep needed
This isn't as good as the organic tofu they used to sell, and can break up, however this doesn't happen if it is coated in corn flour first

tasty and firm. Great for stir fry
Followed the instructions to press before stir frying and the result was lovely to cook with and delicious to eat. Can't fault it. Will definitely buy again.
