This wine comes from the region known as "The gateway to the Mediterranean" which, as the name suggests, is the area at the southern end of the Rhone Valley. It is made from a blend of the Merlot grape grown all over the world and the local Grenache Noir, which thrives in this area. The sunny, warm Mediterranean climate fully ripens the grapes and produces a delightful, soft and fruity red wine.

Gorgeous low cost red
I absolutely love this red for an easy drinking wine. I find it goes well with strong cheeses and perfect for an easy refreshing wine. I don't find there is any after taste and can quite easily start on a second bottle!

Ssh! Don't tell everyone!
Really good inexpensive red wine. I think that we can safely ignore the very rude person who gave it one star, the tone of the review says a lot abut him/her. In this price range it is pretty well top of the tree.

Excellent, smooth wine
This wine is a real find. Smooth and easy drinking, but complex and fruity at the same time. Best wine I have found in a while on Ocado.
