Domaine du Vieux Vauvert 2011
Medium dry white wine
Charming lime flower and citrus blossom aromas, some natural sugar was left unfermented to balance and enhance this wines long minerally flavours.
This selected Vouvray is made from the best vats at Domaine Vauvert. Each vat is vinified separately and then blended under the guidance of Angela Muir MW with Champteloup oenologist, Serge de Bucy, to ensure charming lime flower and citrus blossom aromas.

Lovely

This is exactly what you hope for when you hear "Vouvray". Very nice on its own, no off flavours, just a lovely smooth sipping white. We also think it goes well with a light mid-week dinner of salmon and salad. But even if it didn't, I'd make an excuse to crack open a bottle!
