Prepare & Use
There's nothing simpler...
1. Pre-heat oven to 200ºC/Gas mark 6.
2. Remove all packaging, leaving the pies in their ramekins.
3. Place ramekins on a tray in the centre of the oven & bake for 25-30 mins, ensuring pastry turns golden brown.
4. Leave to stand for 4 mins before serving in ramekins, taking care of hot surfaces.
Ensure food is piping hot throughout. These instructions are a guideline only, all appliances vary

Charlie Bigham saved my life
Have just reviewed this and the lasagne but have tried many more and cannot fault them for taste or ease of use. The pie comes in a little reusable ramekin, the pastry puffs up brilliantly follow the tip to brush on milk/egg and the contents are tasty though don't expect too much meat there is enough.

inedible
Having read other reviews I'm not sure if I got a dodgy batch but these pies were just awful. Smelt horrible, poor quality meat and globs of oil on top of the sauce. Loved the beef in ale version but this has put me off chicken and mushroom for life.

Good size
Lovely tasty filling with a great light puff pastry top. My husbands not a big pie fan but he loved this. The ceramic dishes are very handy to keep too

Not as good as home made, but close!
I don't like ready made food as a rule, but it's always good to have 'emergency' back ups! These are lovely pies, full, creamy and the pastry has lots of crispy, flaky layers.
