Very ordinary Languedoc red with a snazzy label
Languedoc offers some good bargains, but this isn't one of them. It's a decidedly average, soft and fruity red. That might be ok for five pounds, but it's not worth six. Clearly the extra pound has gone on marketing - it's a very modern, chic looking bottle, with light-hearted labelling, although I don't think the placing of the cat strictly matches the French.

Soft fruity snd delicious
Beautiful soft red wine that compliments any meat dish. Screw top which could possibly help if you keep some, but you will probably drink it all!!

Disappointing
Agree with the reviewer who found this sour. I'm a big fan of their rose though, get that instead.

you get what you pay for
I bought this as 2 for 10. It was reasonable value for money in that it cost only 5, but if Id paid 6 I would have been disappointed. In the end I used most of it in a venison casserole and drank the rest while I was cooking - its just right for that!

I bought this because of the pun and the grapes.It lacks bite, it is bland and boring it could do with something to lift it, perhaps some Mourvedre could add a needed kick. Great pun, remember 'Goats do Roam'.
