Prepare & Use
For best results microwave.
Microwave
B/650W - 6½ mins.
D/750W - 6 mins.
E/850W - 5½ mins.
Microwave ovens vary: refer to handbook.
Remove sleeve and pierce film in several places. Place on a microwaveable plate. Halfway through heating time peel back film lid, add 2 tsps water to the rice, stir both compartments, re-cover and continue heating for the remaining time. Allow to stand on the plate for 2 minutes after heating. Check that food is piping hot. If not, heat for a further brief period.
Oven Cook
Electric (190°C): 25 mins.
Fan (170°C): 25 mins.
Gas (gas mark 5): 25mins.
Preheat oven. Remove sleeve. Pierce film in several places. Place on a baking tray in centre of oven. Remove from oven on tray and allow to stand for 2 minutes.
Stir before serving. Do not reheat once cooled.

Surprisingly Good
The trade off with ready meals is convenience, speed and less clear up as against the quality and taste of a 'proper' home cooked meal. It is hard to get ready meals right as the cook-chill-reheat process saps the food of taste. But in this Chilli they have got it more right than wrong. Using fine ground beef certainly decimates any 'nasty bits' there may be in the meat, and the meal has enough tang and bite to satisfy without alianating those with a gentle palate. Not quite a replacement for a home made chilli but great for when convenience is called for.

Acidic tasting sauce
This could have been so good. Maybe, as others have suggested, the meat could be ground more coarsely. But there was enough meat, enough pepper, enough tomatoes. So why make the thing so acidic? It tasted as though someone had squeezed a whole lemon into it, or overdone the citric acid in the tomato puree. Plus there was an aftertaste of mould. Maybe mine was from a bad batch, but I won't be ordering this one again!

Good but..
..the meat could as "Tallyho" said been chunkier. However that aside it was delicious and I will certainly buy again. perfect when there is a midweek game on the box with some red wine

Low quality
The chilli was too dry and the mince mushy and low grade. Not good for the price
