Best tinned tomatoes ever
Rich, tasty, sweet. Am not normally a fan of tinned tomatoes but I could have eaten these straight from the tin!

I was surprised how very much better these are than the average. If you are making e.g pasta sauce these make a real difference.

Poor substitute
These chopped tomatoes were an alternative to Waitrose Organic chopped tomatoes and were awful. Watery and poor tasting. Lots of 'core' pieces. When used in a dish they spoil the end result.

lovely thick tomatoes
no wateriness, no skin, no hard bits, just rich and ripe tomatoes, in a thick tomatoey sauce. I know tinned tomatoes are always quoted as being something that you can pick up for 5p at the cheaper, pile-em-high places, but why compromise on flavour and texture? In the end, these offer much better value for money and are a superior product in every way.

better quality than most
I often cook with fresh tomatoes and was surprised at how good these were. They are rich ,not at all watery and have great taste whether used in recipes or as they are.Well worth any extra cost.
