The smell is special
It's just the smell of it is so weird, I mean some might like it, but I really hate it and it stays on the food.

Very surprised by the poor quality and revolting smell of this allegedly organic product.

Revolting
Smells and tastes of petrol the fumes from which overwhelm the palate for half an hour while you gasp and retch in a state of shock that such a revolting thing could have found it's way onto a supermarket shelf

Strongly flavoured
This oil whilst good quality is very strongly flavoured. So is good for salad dressings and the like but not suitable for cooking as it is so strongly falvoured that's all you can taste.

So why is this Pesach different from any other? Well we are spoilt for choice with our Matzah. In my local Kosher deli there were so many varieties – organic, gluten free, oat matzahs, wholewheat, spelt matzah, low salt, chocolate coated in addition to the different brands. It is not surprising that cooking with matzah can be confusing. This recipe for courgette and leek kugel can be made with any of them (except the chocolate!) It is best sliced using a serrated knife and is delicious with a tomato salad and jacket potato.

Difficult to get the top off
I use this in one cake recipe and it works well there, but I wouldn't put it on salad. I had a lot of trouble getting the cap off - it spun round loosely and couldn't be turned, so I attacked it with a small knife, and, predictably, a bit of the cap splintered off and cut my hand. Would probably not get it again.
