Dissappointing earthy taste

I have eaten wasabi in Japanese restaurants for many years and looked forward to making my own, however I am disappointed-yes you can make it the strength you want but it has a strange "earthy" taste which lacks the vibrancy of the wasabi I am used to.

excellent and fresh

much better than pre-prepared pastes, this powder lets you decide how much and how thick a texture you want. Just be careful when tasting - 'fresh' wasabi packs more punch!!!!
