Prepare & Use
A raising agent used in baking cakes, puddings, scones, cookies, American pancakes and bread. When mixed with liquid and heated, baking powder will create bubbles of carbon dioxide that will cause the mixture to expand and rise. As a general guide, add 4 tsp baking powder to 225g plain flour, and use as an alternative to self-raising flour.

Packaging issues
The actual baking powder is good, it works well, but as others have said the lid is a real pig to get off! I have no dexterity issues but I still find it really frustrating.

Awful cakes!
My cakes suddenly stopped rising when I switched to this product. Other brands work much better.

packaging could be improved
I agree with previous reviews. The lid is really hard to get off and I have no dexterity problems.

Fine baking Powder - no real problems with lid
I was a bit hesitant about buying this product after reading reviews saying the lid was difficult to open. I think it could perhaps be designed better but have had no serious problems opening and closing it. The baking powder is fine.

I find this fine
I have dexterity issues and arthritis in my hands bu have no real difficulty opening the lid after the first time for each pot. I find the baking powder to perform well without problems.
