lovely

I love this basil, tastes wonderful in salads and cooking. I usually keep all my fresh herbs in the freezer, ready to use for a long time.

King of herbs

Lovely stuff, not sure how long people expect basil to last though based on some of the reviews here! , however mine was lovely and fresh.

Product was rotten at point of delivery. Rather unbelievable this had passed any quality inspection for sale...

never lasts

i agree with the other reviewers, this product never lasts, even though i keep it out of the fridge as recommended on the pack and use within the 'use by' date. The leaves usually start to blacken within a day. Growing basil pots are much better. I do hope Ocado starts to stock them soon.

We have listened to our customers and we are pleased to say that we now offer Ocado growing herbs in pots including Basil.

Good basil

There is nothing wrong with the basil. I buy it every week. It lasts ages if you open the bottom of the bag and put the stems in water. Leaving the bag on helps to keep the basil warm and humidified. Basil goes black in the fridge, so it is better kept out.
