Product Description

The beautiful Bay Leaf savoury or sweet, comforting in custards, subtle in stews infuse your oils and pep up your pies the essential bouquet garni or 'baccalaureate' garlands of bay to honour the scholar.

Their slightly bittersweet, aromatic flavour makes these an essential ingredient of a good bouquet garni. Add to casserols, stews and sauces towards the end of cooking. Bay leaves are also used to add a little spice to milky puddings and custards.

these keep well for over a month if kept in a small airtight box in the fridge..

BE WARNED Not dried

These are nice, FRESH bay leaves, not dried leaves. They have a shelf life of about 10 days. I have no idea how I would use this quantity of bay leaves in that time. Normally they would last me over a year!
