Taste good
This majestic basil taste good however it doesn't seem to last that long. So I don't really recommend it if you are buying it too further ahead than when you're actually planning to use it. You can of course chopped it up, put it in ice cube tray, fill it with water then freeze it...but that's a different texture already. ...

Lovely bunch of basil
Kept in a cool dark cupboard in it's celophane bag this item kept for two weeks before I remembered to use it. Once the celophane was open it didn't keep so well but it WAS already old. Never keep this herb in a fridge, it it keeps in a fridge salad drawer as one reviewer said, I'd say it's a fluke, basil doesn't much like growing outside in a normal English summer so a fridge is going to be very difficult for it. My only quarrel is that the bag is so big that I can't use it all up before it goes off.

Good Basil if Used Quickly
This is very good basil if used fairly quickly but then I don't think basil is that "robust" of an herb to hang about for days in the fridge. I use it to make pesto and it's excellent. It has sometimes arrived squashed or bruised, but that's the fault of the packaging/handling.

Wilted within a few hours !!
As someone else said, first meal - on day of delivery & opening - was good, but it was downhill all the way from there .. Within 4 hours it had wilted quite badly, & by the next day, it smelled funny .. Would be very hesistant to buy again ..

Great taste
We cook a substantial amount of Thai & Asian food and this is the best substitute we've found for holy basil. We use it all in one go so haven't had any issues with wilting once the bag is opened.
