This fiery dish makes full use of duck's rich, powerful flavour, calling on a number of spices to create a stunning curry. Serve with steamed rice.
Simon’s carrot fritters are a fresh and crispy snack, which are perfect dunked in his cumin and tahini dipping sauce. They are very simple to make, and take less than 10 minutes to cook. If you don’t have carrots to hand, you could make these fritters with grated sweet potato, or with courgette with the excess moisture squeezed out. This is a really simple but delicious aromatic chicken curry that you can easily make from scratch, and is much tastier than a takeaway! Simon bastes the chicken with butter to keep it deliciously tender as well as adding a small amount of butter to the curry sauce for flavour. Part of our Daily Brunch with Ocado recipe collection.
Simon’s Pork Vindaloo is a hot and spicy Indian curry. It’s rich and aromatic with lots of punchy spices, but you could use less chilli if you prefer. Simon is using pork shoulder, but it would be delicious with lamb instead. Vindaloo comes from Goa in India but is inspired by a Portuguese dish flavoured with garlic and vinegar.
