Not hot
No heat at all. Puzzling as I have bought them before and they were fine. Maybe something wrong with the batch but wont be trying again

Did the job nicely.
Lovely taste, a good kick of heat. We aren't talking about Scotch Bonnets here after all, and they stayed fresh for much longer than I expected. Currently 8 days and counting.

What's happened to these chillies?
I have been buying these for well over a year and they have been consistently good - reliable heat and a good chilli flavour. The last two packets I bought at the end of May were unusable. They had no heat at all, it was obvious when I was chopping them and I ate some raw - nothing, no 'bite' no chilli flavour and, worse still, a vaguely unpleasant taste of what can best be described as under ripe pepper flavour and not chilli at all! What has happened ? A different supplier? Problem with growing conditions?
