Another flavour dimension

I may not yet have tasted the best oregano in the world, despite my travels, as this seems really good to me and adds great flavour to pizzas, pasta sauces and casseroles. I keep it standing upright in the spice rack in its original packaging, with no mishaps so far...

pretty good

I buy this and decant it into a glass jar, one I brought home fro Greece so I can kid myself it's lovely Greek rigani, but I'm happy. It's got a lovely herby flavour which lasts well and it's powerful enough to season and flavour dishes. I use it all the time actually, even on my chips which I toss in olive oil before sprinkling over seasoning & oregano and popping in the oven for 35 mins - hmmm, good!

Useless packaging

I wish I had read the reviews first. If you are purchasing to refill an existing container, or to fill a separate jar then you will not be disappointed. However if you are expecting to use a little, put the top on, pop in the drawer and use again sometime then don't bother. Thin plastic container with plastic lid which mis-shapes and falls off, bursting and spraying Oregano everywhere.

good flavour

I can't imagine making pizza toast without this and it is a very reasonable price too.

OK but not the best

The packaging has been fine for me, but the oregano was a bit of a disappointment. The Barts oregano has a far superior taste IMHO. I won't be buying this one again.

Parmesan, Paprika and Cornmeal Chicken Escalopes

Parmesan, Paprika and Cornmeal Chicken Escalopes

Everyone LOVES fried chicken, but when it’s been dusted in flour or dragged through a batter then deep fried it really isn’t a healthy option. I have got rid of the flour and made an uber tasty mix of cornmeal, parmesan cheese and smoked paprika. This makes a really crispy, gluten free crust. Then I shallow fry it. To serve I ditch the chips and make a healthy vibrant salad. By Sophie Michell
