best garlic I've found
Being half French nearly every dish I prepare has a ton of garlic in it and I was frustrated with the packs of 3 or 4 bulbs, they were too small with tiny cloves, no flavour and gave up the ghost far sooner than they should. So I plumped for one of these. All the ones I've had have been fabulous quality, large bulbs with big cloves and big flavour. They do need to be kept somewhere cooler though (but not the fridge) otherwise they do sprout but they last a lot longer than the cut bulbs. Even converted my dad and found one lurking in his larder after he'd died and it was still fine, so proves that as long as you keep them properly they'll last

I'm a convert!
Until recently, I couldn't see the point of a buying a garlic grappe. But then I bought one of these, anyway, and I'm now a total convert. The bulbs are so much fresher than loose bulbs, which means peeling is also much easier.

Some is soft, has marks and/or is yellowish...
One third usually goes in the bin... Will not buy any more.

a bad year for garlic?
all the garlic I have bought this year has been keen to start sprouting. that's OK in the old crop, but I expect the new crop, which I assume this is, to last a bit longer than 3 days. my home grown garlic was rubbish so maybe it's just a bad year.

Disappointing
I bought this after reading previous good reviews but alas, while some were OK most of the bulbs were so dry I had to throw them out.
