Rather rough

We've liked this in previous years, but the 2010 vintage is a bit lacklustre. Quite a pleasant aroma of cherries and spice, but the tannins are a bit too aggressive on the palate, and the wine just comes over as rather rough. Might be ok with a hearty stew.
