Disappointing purchase
I regularly buy Cox apples but these apples were crumbly and tasteless. Bruises all over them. I know Ocado are great at refunding you but why cant they improve the packing of fruit!

Not so Good
I have been buying these apples for a while but lately they have been of very poor quality. Shame as the price is good. I have even asked for a refund as they are that bad

GREAT YEAR FOR APPLES, 2011
As with all fresh fruit & veg, you need to be careful. Check what's in season before you buy. Out of season the fruit/veg will have possibly hundreds of 'food miles' so it will be much less fresh. AND it may not be as good as local fresh British produce. Also, think about what kind of growing season there was in the year when you're buying, and you won't go far wrong. I remember the days when we had to go to the Greengrocer for our fruit/veg, and he only stocked what was in season. NOW IS A GREAT SEASON FOR BRITISH COX'S APPLES!! Winter 2011

A sour disappointment
These apples looked good and ripe, but were, in fact sour, with little actual taste. They were hard to chew and the skin was tough.
