PERFECT!
I've always loved Crabbies Ginger Wine, but I love the Ginger Beer even more. Very tasty and refreshing. I would have liked to have got hold of the Limited Edition Orange version, but no shops were selling it.

Something different
I'm not a wine drinker and, much as I love American and Belgian beer, it's nice to have an alternative. A friend introduced me to this, knowing I loved ginger. This is a lovely, fresh, gingery summer drink. Not too sweet (like so many ciders) not too dry, nicely balanced and very moreish. Highly recommended for ginger lovers!

A pleasant change from Ale and Lager
I first discovered Crabbies whilst on an ale trail around London's Wetherspoons. There wasnt much to choose from so I gave this a go. You would be hard pushed to believe this was alcoholic. It is very gingery and sweet. If you like Magners type drinks try this - it is far better.

Tastes artificial
While I quite like the non-alcoholic version of this, the alcoholic version adds a discordant, bitter, alcohol note - almost like they simply started with the plain stuff and simply dumped in some industrial grade ethanol to make the alcoholic version. Try and compare this to something similar but classier, like Jeremiah weed root beer, where the alcohol is completely smooth and natural, or just simply any regular naturally brewed ale or cider - you shouldn't notice the alcohol as a sharp distinct taste.
