Disappointing
Not a standard 800gm loaf of bread its half the size, i agree with the other review thick ,dense, and certainly brick like very disappointing, i also bought the sliced version and that was the same.

gritty
I have purchased this loaf on several occasions. My last loaf was 'gritty'. I could not finish eating the product due to this

Disappointing
Good flavour but so dense it was brick-like and therefore only suitable for toast. Disappointing.

Excellent bread as always.
I buy this bread, and have done so for years, BECAUSE it is denser and heavier, and more like home made wholemeal bread than others. I find almost all sliced wholemeal breads insubstantial, too soft and woolly, and much less tasty. I buy it DESPITE its being 'organic', a silly foible IMHO.
