not for us
There are so many health benefits if you buy cold pressed rapeseed oil rather than this. Where has the oil come from ? Not clear if its British
Good oil
Wow, some angry postings full of misinformation - marking something one star because it isn't something else is just weird. Pure poison? Full of additives? Only 3 ingredients of which one is the oil and others not harmful. This oil does what it is supposed to. Get over yourselves.
Pure poison, avoid this oil
rapeseed oik is highly carcinogenic, these oils are one of the main causes of the chronic disease and illness in the western world. this should be a banned product not fit for human consumption
good frying oil
Doesnt really smell or make fries smell greasy if that makes sense!? Dont fry much apart from fries so I have no idea how itll perform with other foods! Buying again though as fries were lovely and crisp and the house didnt end up smelling of oil
To be precise
I agree entirely with FarmerSam and Worldwise that Di-Methyl Polysiloxane (E900) is safe. And it IS 'organic' but only in the strict chemical technical sense of being a carbon containing compound, not in the parallel 'eco-usage' of being naturally derived rather than manufactured
Better than the original?
I got this as an replacement. The higher burn and smoke point, in comparison to the original, is good. Things fried well. Taste is OK too. I might switch.
