An absolute steal
We were recommended this by a friend to have with fish and chips. We had cod - with walnut crust - and chips. Absolutely divine - light and fresh, and nice delicate herby finish.

Excellent
Pecheur means "fisherman" and this is a lovely acidic fresh French white wine that punches way above it's wheight. At the price it's unbeatable. It really is a perfect wine for fish.

Make Kir with this one
Basic white french. We get this and add Creme de Cassis to make Kirs. Other wines too sweet and fruity !

Excellent value, poor description
Ocado's description of this product is wrong in at least 2 ways. This is the 2011 vintage, and it's no longer Vin de Pays du Comte Tolosan - the producer has evidently declassified it, as it is now simply labelled Vin de France. Also, I'm pretty sure there's now some Sauvignon Blanc in there - the label does not reveal the grape varieties, but it doesn't taste like a Colombard/Ugni Blanc blend to me. Any way, it's extremely pleasant - amazingly good value for under a fiver. Aroma of gooseberry, pear and nettle. Some residual sugar, but enough acid to stand up to it. Well balanced, clean and fresh.
