Chef's Tip:
To achieve good crackling, brush the rind with olive oil and sprinkle with salt. Preheat oven 220ºC Electric, 200ºC Fan, Gas Mark 7. Place in a roasting tin and cook until crackled and reduce to 170ºC Electric, 150ºC Fan, Gas Mark 3 for remaining time.

Try with sautéed young spinach & shitake mushrooms, and crushed potatoes with thyme

Lovely texture and taste.

This was my first time cooking a joint of pork, as I remembered pork from my childhood being a chewy meat with not much flavour. This was the opposite, was tasty and moist. Cooking instructions easy. Lovely complements from dinner guests. Will buy again.

Great - first time pulled pork maker

I used this to cook pulled pork, slow cooking it for 5 hours - so easy. It was delicious and melted perfectly. It was my first time cooking pork too - apart from sausages and bacon - just saying that to let others know it can be done if you're nervous like me!
