Not really dishwasher safe

One by one when coming out of the dishwasher these glaases have cracks. Such a shame as very nice glasses.

Dishwasher Safe?

Nice looking glasses and well balanced but lots of white marking from the dishwaher which is disappointing

Poor quality

Four out of six glasses cracked below the rim within a few days. Such a shame as these glasses look and feel beautiful.

Dartington High Ball Glass

Same problem - bought 10 glasses and two cracked just below the rim after first dishwasher usage. I am replacing these today so will see if this happens again. Is there a problem

Current batch unsound?

I've bought these before - nice shape, good size - no problems. BUT I bought 2 packs in February and within one week each cracked 1 cm below the rim, within the glass, and could be a hazard. The cracks are in the same place and appeared without any mishandling. It seems clear to me that there is a manufacturing fault here. I have alerted customer services.

Supplier response- We supply many thousands of glasses and are most concerned if there are any issues with the quality or durability for any of them. We will work with Ocado to resolve any issues that a customer may experience. Occasionally in certain types of products there can be inherent stresses, as a result of heat processing, and are not easily detected. It appears in this case these stresses could have later resulted in failure during use. We would be happy to work with Ocado to replace any glasses identified that fail in this way.
