Just ok
Got this in a flash sale. Outside was soft and a bit rubbery, reminding me of Edam. The centre then was crumbly and harder. Overall taste wasnt strong, slightly creamy. Wouldnt get again
Delicious cheese but short life
Tasty cheese with a good texture but it needs to be eaten quickly or itll start growing unwanted mould. Contrary to (at least) one review here, this is made with vegetarian rennet (not clear why Ocado doesnt try list it as suitable for vegetarians the packaging does).
cheese
very delicious!
stunning
Absolutely delicious. One of the best English cheeses I have eaten
Creamy but Hard and tasteless
I bought this cheese as it said it was 'stilton' - no way. Creamy yes, but hard and tasteless. I bought it to make spinach and stilton palmiers. The spinach has gone into the freezer until I can get some 'stilton'! It went mouldy very quickly too. If I hadn't been going on holiday I would have asked for a refund. As far as the vegetarian reviewer goes, just don't tell my hubby! He has been 'vegetarian' for over fifty years...I just introduced him to vegetarian parmesan, which you might as well buy because it has more flavour than this cheese.
horrible cheese
You know when your bread has gone bad and is covered in mold? Imagine eating it.. that's what this cheese tastes like. Bland and moldy, not in a good, cheese-like way.
