Daylesford Organic Cheddar

We’re especially proud of our organic Cheddar, which has been winning awards since we started making it in on our farm in 2003. Because we use the milk from our own British Friesians, you can see the change in the seasons by the variation in colour. It’s classic tangy flavour goes perfectly with our apple and chilli chutney and our award-winning fruit bread.

- Made by hand on our farm's creamery;

- This cheese has just won a 2011 Nantwich International Cheese Award and a 2011 Great Taste Award.

Wonderful flavour

Great texture and flavour. I buy it regularly since I tried it over a year ago and will keep doing so.

Really disappointing

I love cheddar and loads of cheese. I am not sure when this was cut but it tasted mouldy though it looked okay. Shame. It had very little flavour compared to some. Will not be buying again unless I actually have the cheese cut in front of me. But why risk it again when there are so many nicer ones?

Wonderful flavour and texture

Best cheddar I've tasted in years! Superb flavour and firm, slightly crumbly texture. No wonder it was sold out this week!
