Glorious, exquisite, organic!
I love Daylesford and am so glad I discovered their exquisite range of organic spices and herbs. All of them are gloriously pungent, fragrant and aromatic with an exceptional flavour and aroma – the depth of flavour of all of them is outstanding. This curry powder makes a gorgeous fragrant, aromatic mild curry or stir fry, and is a delicious rub for chicken breasts, pork loins and steak, with a drizzle of organic olive oil or avocado oil and organic lemon juice. Another winner from Daylesford!
tastes great
Read the negative reviews but still risked it, it's not spicy but it's not bland either, we really enjoy cooking with it, dislike most pre mixed curry powders but found this great for things like Singapore noodles and Japanese curry's as well as quick dahl when I don't have time to make my own blend.
Great spice mix
This is a gentle spice mix which is wonderful to mass up scrambled eggs. Just a small teaspoon makes the dish really earthy and takes away the blandness. It’s also. Great for a rub on chicken, fish and pork steaks. Also mixed with yoghurt makes a good marinade.
Gluten alert
Disappointing that an organic curry powder needs gluten alert. This make life for Coeliac's so much harder!
Perfect blend of spices
To my taste, this really is the perfect blend of spices. Some can also leave the kitchen smelling strongly afterwards, which this doesn't do. Delicious in so many dishes.
