Don't get too excited
Flashy wrapping and a long winded name don't mean this is anything special. the usual packet pie effort. Gooey filling, chewey pastry. Only 38% meat. Better than many packet efforts, but nowhere near a real pork pie.

Excellent pork pie
Always try to buy these as they taste naturally delicious without any nasty additives. Pastry good and crisp. Meat looks grey because not cured, apparently - don't look at it - just taste it.

Nice well-balanced pie
Meaty centre with nice shortcrust pastry. No sogginess. Chunky meat without gristle.
