Dietary Specials Thin & Crispy Pizza Margherita 280g
Product Description
Thin & Crispy Margherita Pizza
The original gluten & wheat free experts.
A handcrafted thin and crispy gluten-free and wheat-free pizza base, topped with creamy mozzarella cheese, juicy tomatoes and Italian herbs.
"Before I started Dietary Specials in 1998, it seemed most food manufacturers and retailers had an intolerance of food intolerance! Having both wife and son with a wheat intolerance, I knew first hand how miserable it can make you when food starts to feel like a compromise. It's the everyday things that matter most so we make sure our customers have delicious pasta for their Spag Bol, bread for their lunchbox and these wonderful genuine Italian Pizzas, handmade with the finest ingredients.
In the early days we built trust through our home delivery service and later, pioneered gluten and wheat free foods in the major retailers. Our aims have always remained the same - the provide quality and choice that those on a gluten or wheat free diet know they can rely on".

Great for coeliacs
My two coeliac sons love this - the only gluten-free pizza weve had so far which lives up to their memories of pizza before diagnosis!

Too salty
I was excited to try a gluten free pizza having been gluten free for 6 months but found this product far too salty. Maybe I've just got used to my own homemade gluten free pizzas which would naturally be less salty than readymade ones. My 4 year old enjoyed it but I'm not sure I'd want her to eat such a salty pizza on any regular basis.

Great taste
My child is wheat free so finding a pizaa he can eat and bring to parties and play dates is a god send. Since the kid's menu seems to be pizza or pasta this is great. We all like the taste.

One of the best wheat free pizzas I've had
Good pizza base, not like cardboard, which most wheat free pizzas are. Genuinely nice.

Pleasantly surprising
Considering how hard it is to find good gluten and wheat free products that are passable, this was a pleasant surprise and not like card board as so many can be. In fact the base was not too thick and although I would recommend adding your own toppings and some olive oil to give it some substance, as there wasn't much on there in the first place, it was a good experience for a change.
