Stem ginger paste and ground ginger combine to give these cookies a tasty warm glow. They are made using artisan methods and organic produce in our Wiltshire bakery, where everything that goes into the mixing bowl is on the ingredient list. The palm oil is from sustainable organic farms in Colombia, so it does not harm the habitat of orangutans. We do not use genetically modified ingredients, controversial additives or hydrogenated fat.
We make biscuits, cookies, snack bars, breakfast cereals, pasta and a wide range of speciality flours.
We are committed to ethical trading, so sourcing Fairtrade sugar is a logical choice for us. Fairtrade provides a better deal for producers in developing countries, creating opportunities for farmers and workers to improve their lives, their communities and protect their environment.

lacks ginger

Unfortunately has very little taste. Needs more ginger. Their lemon cookies are fabulous but these aren't. Won't be buying again. Will stick with their other flavours which are all really good.

Tasteless

You'd never know this was supposed to be a ginger biscuit! Usually stem ginger really packs a punch - but this was, as other reviewers warned, tasteless and disappointing. I gave Dove the benefit of the doubt because usually their standards are high, but this is one to avoid.

Disappointing

Relatively tasteless. So disappointed. Texture not great either. I usually like Doves Farm products. These will fuel the argument that gluten free tastes inferior. Product needs much more ginger - and cloves perhaps - less sugar and more fat.

Great Product

Could not disagree with the other review more, I found this to be one of the best free from biscuits I have tried yet. A good texture very similar to a normal biscuit and not brittle or falling apart like so many of the free from biscuits. I will be buying again.
