advice

I have used this yeast with a Panasonic machine for over ten and get very good results. I store it in an old baby food jar which is air tight and just the right size; folding the top over doesn't work so well. I make bread most week days so it lasts about 2 months. If you don't make bread regularly It may be it would deteriorate over longer periods of time in which case I would use the sachets.

I got a poor batch

Having read the other reviews here, I'm not quite sure what's going on with this yeast. Clearly some people are having no trouble. But a few teaspoons into my packet, the yeast seems to have died and I have now had a couple of unleavened loaves. Unreliable.

Great results every time

Since I first used this yeast a few years ago, I would never use any other. Never had a problem with this brand, reliable results every bake.

BEST FOR BREAD MACHINES

the others aren't as good as this....always perfect results, even with spelt flour.

does what it says

I've been using this yeast in my various bread machines for years & it's never let me down. If I've been unable to buy it & had to purchase others, I've invariably been unhappy with the results. Doves is a winner for me.

Doves Farm Kamut Khorasan Bread

Doves Farm Kamut Khorasan Bread

Kamut Khorasan flour was originally grown for the pharaoahs in Egypt. It is an ancient wheat variety, naturally high in protein and minerals. With a creamy coloured crumb, you could be forgiven for forgetting this is a wholegrain loaf. Kamut flour sometimes requires more liquid than wheat flour so adjust the water if necessary to ensure the dough is not too stiff.
