Baked following a traditional recipe in the heart of the Scottish Highlands, these melt-in-the-mouth all butter shortbread biscuits are made using churned British butter and flour from Maris Widgeon wheat grown on Duchy Home Farm at Highgrove.

One of the best tasting packaged shortbread around. Not too hard and thick like some others.Not cheap, but worth it.

Underwhelming & salty aftertaste
Quite disappointed with these biccies. The packaging is lovely but the shortcake itself tastes quite salty and almost like there's something missing in the ingredients but can't quite put my finger on it. There are better quality shortcakes available for the price in my opinion.

Bicarbonate Soda explosion in your mouth
I am a big fan of Duchy's products. However, the biscuit flavour here is definitely not a shortbready one, it tastes of something else completely. The prevalent taste for me is rather bicarbonate and soda, while I prefer a straight forward butter-flour-sugar kick when it comes to shortbread biscuits.
