Bit of a let down
This is incredibly sweet and it tastes just wrong. I couldn't even finish eating the small amount I took as a taster when it got delivered and forced it onto my flatmate to try. I couldn't really taste any other flavours over the cloying sweetness so won't be buying again. I've given this two stars but only because my flatmate didn't think it was that bad.

Delicious, just as good s home made
Very good texture, fine and creamy with a few bits. Good balance of sweet and salty. This pate is so good that I tend to eat it straight, without any bread!

Nothing special and a bit sweet
I was disappointed with this product, promised alot but delivered a very average taste. It was too sweet for my husband to eat, he said it tasted "just wrong" because of it. I ate it, didn't enjoy it much for the same reason, but I thought I'd give it a fair chance... but still not impressed.

Nasty
I only got this because the Waitrose own brand equivalent - a 5 star product - was sold out. What a mistake. WIth a slimy texture and an excessively sweet taste - and I drink Cocoa Cola buy the pint, I know what sweet is - this is plain nasty. The label claims the pate contains onions, but I certainly couldn't taste any. My impression is this is basically a small pot of mechanically recovered meat. I'm at a loss as to how the Duchy of Cornwall makes so much money if this is the junk they sell. Does anyone ever come back for a second purchase? I know I won't.
