Serving suggestion: Serve with baby courgettes and baby potatoes roasted in olive oil and mint, and a fresh green salad. A ripe Australian Cabernet makes a perfect accompaniment.

Storage
Keep refrigerated below 5°C. Once opened consume within 2 days. Cool any leftovers to room temperature, refrigerate within two hours and consume within two days.
Suitable for freezing on day of purchase. Use within one month. Defrost fully before use: do not refreeze once defrosted.
Prepare & Use
Preparation: Wash hands, all surfaces and utensils after touching raw meat.
Oven Cook
Electric (200°C): 20-25 mins
Fan (180°C): 20-25 mins
Gas (gas mark 6): 20-25 mins
Preheat oven. Remove sleeve and film. Place on a baking tray in centre of oven. Cook until golden brown. Ensure the surface of meat is thoroughly cooked. Leave to rest for 5 minutes before serving.

stopped buying
This used to be a regular favourite in our house but on the last few weeks the meat has been poor quality. Previously the lamb rump was tender and fat free, the last few times the meat has been fatty, and much of it indelible.

Disappointing and overpriced
We had the same issue as a previous reviewer - an awful lot of fat and gristle that we had to pick around to unearth a bit of meat. Very disappointing as the little lamb we could get at was really tasty, but would not purchase again.

Beware - not what it was!
This was a favourite on our weekly shop for over a year. But the supplier must have changed. It used to be two big juicy pieces of top restaurant quality lamb with a fine crisp coating of crumb. But for the last few months we have opened the pack to find two thin scraggly pieces of fat and gristle buried beneath a mountain of breadcrumbs. We thought it might be a factory malfunction, but week after week it's the same deal. Finally, regretfully, we are giving up and accepting that a product we loved is no more. And they have the cheek to charge the same for it.

Consistently good
I have probably bought this about 15 times over the past few years and it has always been of the same high standard. Better than restaurant quality I would say.

lovely, will be ordering again
I was put off by recent reviews but decided to risk it and glad I did, the lamb was beautiful. No gristle, chewy bits or fat. Followed the instructions, including letting it rest and it was cooked perfectly, moist and tender. Will definitely be ordering again.
