even greggs do better
thick, tasteless pastry, minimal custard with unpleasant wet top. the huge grains of nutmeg were really not nice either.

Nice, when they ever come!
Crayfish +1. Perfectly respectable indeed. Compared to another supermarket's they're less sweet and a bit richer which does it for me. Main problem is I think in all my Ocado orders they've only actually fulfilled my order on this product once!

Very disappointed
I've ordered these custard tarts on two occasions and both times the custard was dry and rubbery and the pastry was burnt, not just a little, but burnt black. The first time it happened, I assumed it was a bad batch, but twice? I'll never order these again.

Really lovely
These are really lovely egg custards, the only ones I've tasted better are from a local bakery.
