Synthetic Cream

Please do not list Elmlea as 'cream', it is a synthetic cream susbstitute consisting of 26% hydrogenated vegetable fat, a trans fat which is linked to heart disease. It's marketed as being the 'healthy' alternative, which is grossly misleading.

Great stand by cream

I always have one of these in the fridge. It lasts for ages but tastes just like normal cream. Really useful.

Hydrogenated oil!

This cream substitute is full of disgusting hydrogenated oil (trans fats) and therefore an even more unhealthy option than normal double cream. At least that's not been tampered with!

Moist and sticky with crunchy cocoa nibs and an aromatic sweet-spiced syrup, these cakes are the perfect dessert served warm with real vanilla ice cream or cold with rooibos or Earl Grey tea.
