Too sweet
I bought these hoping to taste some herring, unfortunately all I could taste was sugar.

A lovely example of pickled fish
We love Smorgasbord board style brunches at the weekend. This fish comes in lovely bite size pieces so no awkward cutting of the fish skin. Lovely plump & meaty fishy pieces in a tasty sweet pickle! We have with seeded rye bread, Fleischsalat, salami, smoked cheeses, gherkins - really delicious!

Way too much sugar
Great texture and consistency, but don't buy these unless you like your fish well sweetened.

Lovely
Simply delicious. Maybe, slightly too sweet for some people if you are use to the jars of herring from Norway ..... but I felt the contrast in taste is well balanced.
