Very fatty, 20% loss!
I purchased 740g and had to throw away 144g of pure fat! The lamb leftover was very tasty though!

tasty and tender
I bought 750g of this lamb to make a curry. Fried it first to seal in the juices, then cooked in the oven for two hours. Beautifully tasty and tender - absolutely no gristly bits. Lamb needs to have some fat with it to keep the meat tender, so maybe by some people cutting it away, they end up with tough meat, rather than allowing the fat to help the cooking process. Seems this one is a bit of a lottery. Would have to agree, though, that this meat is not diced, but rather is in large chunks which need further cutting, which is why I gave four rather than five stars.

fatty
I received 530g of this lamb and once I finished trimming it I was left with 401g. The actual lamb looks good( haven't eaten it yet) and I expected some fat but for the price I paid there was to much fat. Cheaper and better to buy a piece of lamb and trim it yourself, if that is the best ocado butchers can do, sorry ocado.

Quality has dropped badly in the last few months
I am now stopping buying this as the last 3 orders have been fatty and very poorly prepared. A shame because it used to be an excellent product.

Great flavour
This had a great flavour, and I used it to make scotch broth. After cooking for 20 minutes in a pressure cooker, the meat fell off the bones, which I discarded. I think this made the best scotch broth I've made.
