Yes, too ripe
I agree with philinlondon. Too ripe. I'm not averse to soft, smelly, ripe cheese - in fact I wish more of the Bries and Camemberts sold were a little more ripe - but Reblochon turns rather sour and strong tasting when over ripe, which is not why I buy it. I prefer the Top Tier, which is, of course, more expensive, but in this case, worth it.

Way too mature
I have no doubt that this cheese could be great but this is the second time I have ordered it and it is way too mature. It stinks and the taste is too overwhelming. I wonder whether other customers have had the same experience. I eat lots of cheese and like tasty ones, but this is really way too strong. It should arrive less ripe with the option to leave it to ripen longer according to one's taste.

Awfully more-ish
Really delicious in sandwiches. Tasty but not pungent even after it went gooey. Hard to stop eating it. Mmmm.

Very strange smell and flavour
I love a good smelly cheese but this one has a very odd earthy smell of compost about it. Not nice at all and ended up binning it after one unpleasant taste.
