Very strong alcohol -- use sparingly
I guess the good news is that a little goes a long way, but if you try to follow a recipe, cut down on how much you use of this stuff -- it really overpowers cakes with an alcohol flavour if you use the usual amount.

Fantastic Product
I agree with the previous reviewer - this is by far the best vanilla extract I have used. Also I bake loads and this bottle still lasts me for ages which makes it great value. Using a vanilla of this quality makes a huge difference to the taste of the end product.

Probably the best
Have tried most of the other vanilla flavouring/extracts in this price range and I think this is the best.

Lovely vanilla taste
Cooked the last of my figs from the tree that were a bit underipe with a little water, sugar and this vanilla. Added some apples from the garden and there you have a beautiful tasty dessert, so moreish none left the next day, kids disappointed.
