horrid

Thin sticks of beetroot was dry. Lettuce was limp. Although guaranteed for 4 days, it was already turning by the 4th day. Not recommended and I wont buy again.

Dry beetroot

I love Waitroses own beetroot salad and thought I would give this a go, however most of the beetroot was dry. Might have been a one-off but I'm not willing to take that chance again unless it's on special offer.

Why the frisee?

I bought this, not having fully read the ingredients. Personally, I don't find anything "tender" about frisee. I have no idea why it is even grown - does anyone actually like it? Shame - the combination of beetroot & lambs is lovely.

one of the very best salad bags

lambs lettuce and grated beetroot taste fabulous. The Frise doesn't add much other than bulk, and probably keeps the price down. Very good indeed.
