Tasty

Love this bacon, has a proper butchers taste. Has lovely fat on which you can get to crisp up. I order every week!

excellent streaky bacon

I order this regularly. It is cut thick enough to hold shape in cooking, and in the pan, but not to thick. very little shrinkage, or apparent water loss. I use as pancetta in cooking-it tastes a good, and is cheaper. Well done Ocado

why is this leaching white goo?

Bacon is lovely thick slices. Ideal for slicing up for cooking or for making a man sized bacon roll. However this bacon is very wet in the pan and there was copious white gunk associated with ordinary bacon.

Mine was about 50% fat - the birds were well fed, but we were less happy!

This+bacon+is+cut+too+thickly,+it+is+what+you+would+class+as+thick+cut+bacon.++Out+of+250g+you+only+get+8+slices.++
