D/750W: 7 mins.
E/850W: 5½ mins.
Microwave ovens vary: refer to handbook.
Remove lid. Lay the lid back onto the pot and place pot on a microwaveable plate. Stir halfway through heating time. Allow to stand for 2 minutes after heating.
Check food is piping hot. If not heat for a further brief period.

Heat gently, stirring occasionally, until piping hot.
Stir before serving. Do not re-heat once cooled

Nice enough
This soup tasted slightly bland on its own but when I added salt and pepper it was delicious, with bread dipped in...yum. Be aware that it is slightly sweet but then I wouldn't want a bitter onion soup.

No longer my favorite
I used to like this Waitrose French Onion soup, but I was very disappointed this time. The colour was very dark brown, mqybe too much caramelised, funny strong smell, still hard somewhat uncooked onion. There was nothing I like in it and everybody left it without finishing. I wonder what has happened.happened.

It's ok but kind of repeats on you...
This soup is alright but my least favourite from the waitrose soup range. Leaves an unpleasant taste in my mouth and repeats on me all day the only product to do this I promise!. But my husband likes it, despite it repeating on him also all day... so I would not buy again if it weren't for him.

Funny taste
I love French Onion Soup but this one is disappointing. It has a really funny after taste
