Really reliable

I buy these all the time. For a special meal I'd take the skins off, but you have to do that with fresh ones, too. So much cheaper than fresh and delicious.

Yummy staple buy

Have bought for years. Very handy. Sometimes double pod but we find these sweet enough and often add to risotto rice with some pancetta. I miss the broad bean and green bean mix...hope it comes back one day.

Freezer staple

De-frost, de-skin and cook for a minute only and you get beautifully sweet little beans - also lovely in a salad when cooled. Yes, it's a bit of a fiddle to take the skins off, but, as a previous reviewer said, it's what you'd do with fresh beans if you don't want them to be tough and grey. Next best thing to picking straight from your garden when the beans are still small and tender.

strange taste

it is my first time buying this product and I am a bit confused with slightly bitter taste. I would also expect baby broad beans to be much more tender.
